Fork is smooth! 1-1/8" Threadless Steerer Tube is 7-5/8" long. I believe this fork also utilizes an open oil bath. In lock out mode it compresses a couple inches and then locks. I believe the the control knob on right side is ECC control knob which has 3 levels of stiffness(may be damping adjustment? and lockout. Fork has dual preload and single rebound air. Way ahead of its time and in this industry already vintage this fork is in great working order.

It was not used for very long and was stored away for some time. The steer tube is 8.25 with a little extra for the race. The stanchions, wipers and seals are in great shape.

But its more than I want to dig into here. I know that the seals are easily replaced. Mini mal paint scratches to lowers near the drop outs and I see some touch up paint applied to lowers by the previous owner- as seen in th e pics Its listed as for parts because I see that the fork seals have began to leak oil slightly. Previous owner removed the decals from this fork. Lowers and the booster/brace look great.
